As the sun begins to rise over Empire City, the whine of the steam-generators can be heard winding down for the night. These generators are what gives the city its life during the daylight hours, at night, its a whole different world. That steam cloud you see over the city will be gone by noon. It's another day in the big city, clients to handle, stoolies to track down; looks like its going to be another great day.
This is just a small part of the World of Hardened Heroes. Consider a world where gasoline is actually a bomb and the world has progressed forward with steam-power. A world where steam is transplanted in vehicles like batteries and planes gather moist from the clouds to refuel.
This is a world set in the 1930's. When you say? During the Golden Age; a time when anything and everything was possible. Your will find extraordinary inventions and fiendish villains who use them. An time of steam, a time of steam-pulp noir. So strap on your colt, gather your comrades and head out for some wild adventures set in Empire City and the world.
Hardened Heroes is a stand alone setting. Written for CORE-7, but with everybody else in mind.

I have been informed that Hardened heroes is half-way completed in editing. I am going to pick up the first half of the edit today. I am very excited to see what was said and to get busy completing it for you. The setting based around Hardened Heroes is one very dear to my heart and actually has a lot potential.
