To All New Employees of the Foundation,

As you might have noticed, the Foundation likes to keep its main facilities a secret.  Because of the items we keep contained from the rest of the world, we cannot make our whereabouts public.  Since your application was accepted for employment within the Foundation, you will need to know where you have been taken. We apologize for the blindfold and the Black Ops way we handle our employees trust, but we are in precarious times that demand our full attention to the security of the world.

Our main facility, where you now are, is located North of a town called Sonora, which is located on the Edwards Plateau in Texas.  It is a 24 level underground facility with an expansion in the works.  Your training areas will be on the 3rd and 4th levels with your quarters on the 5th.  Security handles the upper levels with the authorization to demobilize and secure all unauthorized persons entering within a 20 mile radius.  The facility is equipped with the latest in EMP technology so you do not need to worry about an air strike.

Your training will take 12 weeks to complete which will include Basic Firearms, multiple enviorment survival, as well as artifact and relic identification.  At the end of the 12 weeks you and your teammates will be dropped into an undisclosed ruins site where you will be timed on your ability to transverse, secure and exit with the artifact required.  Failure means no graduation.  Upon a successful procurement of the artifact, you will be sent on to advanced training in one of the many branches of the Foundation.  The choice will be yours when the time comes.

The Foundation believes that your choice to join our family was the best you have made in a lifetime.  You will find everything you need to make your stay here with us a pleasant one.  Your food and lodging will be provided for you.  Your pay will automatically be deposited in our bank branches as a security measure.  We do monitor all transactions of our employees- we hope you will understand.  Everything you need for any expedition will be provided to you by the Foundation except gadgets.  Any special item you need requested of the R&D department is solely at your own expense.  There may be times when R&D will need you to field test and experimental item, but that will always be between you and R&D.
