Already as the Wonderland setting begins to get off the ground, I've been hearing the same question from a number of folks.

Whatever possessed you to do something like this with favorite childrens' stories and fairy tales?

To be completely honest, I don't really know.  But I suspect it's a combination of a lot of smaller factors, and those I think I can nail down for you.  In a way, this may not be a very Wonderland-specific update, but it will be good to know moving forward, so everyone can understand a little better the kooky ticking of the Phoenix's clock.  I will endeavor to dig a little deeper into each of these individually.  So stay tuned to the Dev's Blog for those updates!

1) I've always lived by the credo that I don't like to think outside the box- I try to blow the box up.

2) I'm very interested in personalities and relationships, as well as deficiencies in both.

3) I have an unhealthy obsession with the inherent dual nature of all people everywhere.

4) One of the best ways to reach a wide demographic is to start with a base in something everyone is familiar with.

5) Controversy breeds interest.

6) I've always hated Sesame Street.

Hopefully some of these things are already starting to make sense in your head.  But as mentioned above, I'm looking forward to digging a little deeper into each of these and helping you better understand the Mind of the Phoenix.  Hang on, folks, and keep your eyes fixed on the Dev's Blog.  It's gonna be a bumpy ride!
